Texas A&M University is rich with tradition.  In 1963 the tradition of Texas A&M was forever changed
as the doors of the university were opened to women, our presence strengthening its academic and
cultural life and making a permanent mark on the history of the institution.  For 45 years, women
have entered the hallowed halls of the Memorial Student Center and have grown to comprise nearly
half of the student body.  Today women former students all over the world distinguish themselves in
their careers and communities.  By what we achieve in life and work and family, we honor our legacy
as former students of Texas A&M University.

Women former students have a unique bond with the current women student body and with women
faculty who teach and research to advance the greatness of Texas A&M.  We are their sisters,
daughters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, friends, colleagues, and mentors.
Our legacy is also theirs
The Women Former Students' Network legacy will come to life in many ways, one of which is
financial.  To give back to the women of Texas A&M with financial support, the WFSN has created a
Women's Legacy Fund.

The first project of the Women's Legacy Fund was established to honor the 45 year anniversary of
women being admitted to Texas A&M.  We are seeking women former students and friends who will
help establish two Women's Legacy Fund Scholarships.  The Campaign has the final goal of
$200,000 which will allow two scholarships, each to be established at the level of a presidentially
endowed scholarship.

Effective November 2008, the first scholarship is complete, so we are seeking donors to the
Women's Legacy Fund to finalize the second endowed scholarship.

Gifts to 45 Women Campaign may be given in one payment or may be pledged with the full gift given
within five years.

Donors are sought at the following levels:

                 $1000 - $4999                                            Maroon and White Level
                 $5000 - $9999                                            Spirit Level
